Buying Garcinia Cambogia has been a hit and miss experience for me. I live in a major metropolitan area, but have had mixed success finding it a regular brick and mortar stores. That’s not to say you will not have better luck and shouldn’t try. It could be that I was just looking in the wrong places.
But, mainly because of not being able to find it in stores, online became my go-to source to get Garcinia Cambogia in Canada. I currently buy it here (and am rather happy with this product in case you’re interested). Below, is the process I recommend you follow if you do try finding your own source. Please, please follow it or something like it. Always do your research before purchasing anything. I was burned a couple of times, and that was not a pleasant experience.
The first thing I check for is whether the supplier I’m considering ships to Canada, and if so, does so at a reasonable cost. As we all probably know, stores don’t always ship up here, and when they do, they can sometimes charge an arm and a leg. If you live elsewhere in the world (other than the US), I suspect you are also familiar with this problem. If a store can’t ship to you, there is no point researching them any further.
What to Get
The next thing to look into is that you are actually getting what you pay for. With natural Garcinia Cambogia extract people will often try to pull a quick one on us left, right and center. The most common issue is getting short-changed on the amount of HCA contained in the pills compared to what is advertised. HCA is the active ingredient that is responsible for all of the supplement’s benefits. You are looking for 50% HCA content or higher, and you need to be sure the product contains that. If it does not, you will likely not see the results you should be (this was one of the issues I ran into).
The kicker is that the information on product quality is very hard to come by (spot a unicorn hard). You essentially need to find independent and unbias tests. I was only ever able to find a couple. Based on those, and personal trial and error, there are a few things you can do to protect yourself. First, flat out avoid anything made in China or India. The quality of North American products will be substantially higher.
Next, always check the ingredients. These should be listed somewhere on the seller’s site (though some make it harder to find than others). If you cannot find the ingredients, that’s a red flag. Make sure there are no binders, fillers, or anything else artificial. Whenever I am not sure about a specific ingredient, I simply Google it. This is the product I currently use. If you are still searching for a brand, go ahead and check it out. I’m obviously very happy with what it’s done for me. If you’re not interested in it specifically, it’s all good too. You can at least get an idea of what to look for.
Where to Get It
In addition to taking a closer look at the product, also investigate the seller you’re considering buying Garcinia Cambogia from. Two things I look for are good customer service and a solid return policy.
Before buying, I always try to get in touch with support using either the phone number or contact form I find on the seller’s website (if you can’t find either, run). The two things I want to get a better idea for are how responsive they are, and how competent and easy to deal with they are. For the latter, I’ll just ask some simple questions I already know the answers to, and see how they respond.
As far as the refund policy, if the product quality is good, I firmly believe Garcinia extract will give you the same great weight loss results it has given me, and you will never look back. That being said, you can never go wrong with having options. The last thing I would want to do is to get stuck with a product I don’t use or am not happy with.
I aim for a 30-day refund policy. That is enough time to ship the supplement to Canada and back, and gives a few weeks to try it. When Garcinia pills are taken correctly, it takes 3 to 4 days to start noticing the effects, and up to two weeks for them to fully kick in. I have run into some sellers that only give a 7-day refund window, which frankly is ridiculous. You might as well not have one at that point.
One last thing you can do to protect yourself from possibly shady sellers is to use a prepaid credit card. I sometimes run across stories where the merchant continues to charge the buyer over and above what the transaction was supposed to be. By using a prepaid credit card, you’re making sure a seller will not be able to get away with those kinds of dishonest practices. Prepaid card will work anywhere regular credit cards do. I have never actually needed to use this method but know people who do. If you are nervous about buying online, doing this can put your mind at ease.
That’s pretty much all there is to it. Again, please do your research to avoid potential disappointment later on. I can tell you from experience it is a bitter pill to swallow (no pun intended). It’s a simple process that can save you a lot of headache. I buy my Garcinia Cambogia here and have been for well over a year. I’m sure there are other retailers out there that are just as good, or maybe even better. But these are the guys I currently happily use. If you’re still on the fence, don’t put off doing your research and jumping on board. A lot of people (myself included) are getting solid results with Garcinia Cambogia and never looking back. It’s a great feeling.
